Product Overview

The 11kV gas-insulated ring main unit is a compact complete power distribution device specially designed for medium-voltage distribution network upgrading, dedicated power supply for industrial enterprises and foreign-related power distribution scenarios. It is suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz, rated voltage 11kV power distribution systems, mainly undertaking the reception, distribution, control, protection and rapid fault handling of electrical energy. It is the core equipment for adapting to 11kV voltage level distribution networks and ensuring power supply continuity, as well as one of the key equipment for modern intelligent distribution network construction.

With SF6 gas fully insulated and sealed technology as the core, the product integrates core modules such as three-position load switch, earthing switch, intelligent measurement and control terminal, five-prevention interlocking, and temperature control and dehumidification. It adopts a modular integrated design, with advantages of safety and reliability, compact size, maintenance-free, high intelligence and strong environmental adaptability. Its compact structure can reduce the floor area by 40%-70% compared with traditional air-insulated switchgear, greatly saving land resources. Operating Environment

1.  Ambient temperature: -25℃~+40℃, 24-hour average temperature ≤+35℃, can be customized to adapt to extreme high and low temperature working conditions of -40℃~+55℃, meeting the use needs of alpine and high-temperature areas and adapting to outdoor operation under different climate conditions.

2.  Altitude: Normally applicable to altitude ≤2000m, special scenarios (such as plateau areas) can be customized and upgraded to 4000m, adapting to high-altitude and low-air-pressure environments to ensure stable insulation performance of the equipment.

3.  Relative humidity: Daily average ≤95%, monthly average ≤90%, built-in intelligent temperature and humidity controller and anti-condensation heating system, effectively eliminating condensation in the cabinet, avoiding equipment insulation damage, and ensuring normal operation of the equipment in high-humidity environments.

4.   Pollution class: Standard Class Ⅲ, can be customized with Class Ⅳ anti-pollution, anti-salt spray and anti-corrosion coatings according to scenarios, adapting to harsh environments such as coastal areas, chemical industry and mines, and improving the anti-pollution capacity of the equipment.

5.  Installation conditions: The installation inclination angle is ≤5° with the vertical plane, the installation site has no fire or explosion hazards, no strong vibration, impact, corrosive gas or conductive dust, and it can adapt to outdoor sun exposure, rain, wind and sand as well as indoor conventional power distribution environments, suitable for various installation scenarios.

Product Features

1.   Fully sealed and fully insulated, maintenance-free and more worry-free

The core switch and conductive circuit are sealed in a stainless steel gas chamber filled with high-purity SF6 insulating gas, and the live parts are fully shielded, completely isolating external interference such as dust, moisture, rain and snow. The annual gas leakage rate of the gas chamber is ≤0.1%, which is one of the core indicators to measure the manufacturing process. It can realize long-term maintenance-free operation, greatly reducing operation and maintenance costs and labor input, and has obvious life cycle cost advantages.

2.  Complete five-prevention interlocking, safer and more secure

Equipped with a complete forced mechanical interlocking device, strictly realizing the "five-prevention" functions — preventing mis-closing/opening of the load switch, preventing pushing and pulling the switch with load, preventing closing the earthing switch when live, preventing power transmission with the earthing switch closed, and preventing entering the live compartment. It comprehensively avoids operational risks, has extremely low arc fault risk, and ensures the safety of personnel and equipment.

Adopting standardized functional unit design, it can freely combine units such as ring inlet, ring outlet, feeder, PT and metering, supporting various wiring modes such as single-ring, double-ring and radial.
